"Healthier" Baked Ziti

How to Make

  • For this recipe, I used my Ninja Foodi, you could follow the same directions using an instant pot or any other pressure cooker.

  • Chop spinach.

  • Spray a large skillet with olive oil cooking spray and heat on medium. Add in the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 8 minutes. Set the cooked turkey aside.

  • Turn the cooker on the saute option and add in the olive oil and garlic. Stir.

  • Add 2 cups of water and the salt, stirring to make sure the garlic is not stuck to the bottom.

  • Pour in the pasta, chopped spinach, and cooked ground turkey and stir until well mixed.

  • Add in the marinara sauce on top. Pour it in so that it is covering all of the pasta. Leave as is without stirring.

  • Cook on high pressure for 7 minutes.

  • After the 7 minutes, do a quick release of pressure (turning the knob to vent and letting all of the steam vent out)

  • Add in the ricotta and stir until well combined.

  • Top with the mozzarella and cover for 3 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
